Munchery Review

Of course I jumped at the chance to try anything that combined on-demand delivery with my love of food. Gourmet meals delivered? Yes please!

Right away I downloaded the Munchery app, created my account, and ordered a delicious chili dish. I used the Munchery promo code MPSW25FD, so I ended up paying nothing.

I asked for a delivery window of 6-7pm. Around 6:30 I got a call from customer service saying that there had been an issue and my food was going to be delayed. As an apology, they comped both my meal that night, AND gave me $10 extra credit. So I didn’t mind—A+ customer service!

When the food did arrive, it was actually only about 10 minutes late, and it didn’t really matter as I was the one heating it up anyway. I popped it in the oven and about 15 minutes later was chowing down on my chili. It was delicious!

I’ve tried this app a few times since and haven’t had an issue with delays, so it sounds uncommon. Overall, A+!

  2. Choose the meal or meals that you’d like, for delivery later the same day. Make sure you put in the request early (before lunch is usually good), for delivery by dinnertime.
  3. Choose a delivery location and time frame (1 hour)

  5. Receive your food and heat it up as per the instructions (it’s like a little meal kit)!
